Strong and enduring partnerships help TGH deliver results for the more than 86,000 members of Waikato-Tainui. Some of our most successful projects have come about by bringing together iwi vision, kaitiakitanga and unique holdings of whenua with the technical expertise and capital resources of our partner organisations.
These strategic partners have helped to shape our region with projects like The Base (The Warehouse was an early partner and now Kiwi Property is a 50% joint venture partner), our hotels (Accor and Auckland Airport), commercial properties (ACC, NZ Police), our direct investments (Ngai Taahu) and Ruakura Inland Port (Port of Tauranga). We also acknowledge our local and international banking partners.
We work closely with Hamilton City Council on our urban development projects to grow Hamilton and revitalise the central city. This work includes roading and infrastructure projects at Ruakura Superhub, where the New Zealand government also invested in public infrastructure through Crown Infrastructure Partners.
