Mr Jefferies (Waikato, Ngaati Korokii-Kahukura, Ngaati Raukawa, Ngaati Tukorehe), brings a deep understanding of the TGH business including more than 10 years in key finance and strategy roles for the company.
Current CEO Chris Joblin, who announced his resignation in June this year, will step aside from his day-to-day management role. He will continue to be available as a sounding board for Mr Jefferies and will remain as a director on several TGH subsidiaries until mid-November. A farewell is planned for Mr Joblin later this year to formally thank him for his 15-years of service for TGH.
