Located overlooking the Waikato River in central Hamilton, the 126 room, 3.5-star Ibis Tainui Hamilton Hotel opened in 2007. TGH has fully owned the hotel since 2014 when it bought out JV partners Hamilton City Council and Accor.
The hotel underwent a full refurbishment in 2022 and is operated by Accor.
