TGH owns the ground leases for 8 police stations across the Waikato region and the land and buildings of the architecturally designed Cambridge Police Station.
These police stations are situated on whenua owned by Waikato-Tainui that was returned to the iwi as part of the Raupatu settlement with the Crown in 1995.
In August 2020 Tainui Group Holdings (TGH), and New Zealand Police announced a new partnership which will help build stronger Waikato communities.
